What I write

I take on commissions across a wide range – reviews, long-reads, features, essays, catalogue entries, programme notes and cultural commentary. My work tends to sit at the intersection of art, history, music and ideas, but I’m drawn to subjects that reward close attention, whatever the field.

I also work with galleries, festivals, orchestras and cultural organisations on research, editorial strategy and writing projects.
